7.9 Entering the List of States

Anytime you specify, for example, in an address in EZM Web the state in which the address is located, the state has to be chosen from a drop-down list whose entries are entered in the states section of EZM Web.  To get to this section of EZM Web, click on the States option under the Utilities and Lists drop-down menu:

Clicking on the States option will take you to following screen where you can enter the states into EZM Web:

To enter a new state, first locate the yellow-colored NEW button at the right part of the screen:

Click on the NEW button to enter a new state.  Notice that the Add / Edit State box in the upper right part of the screen contains a box called Enter State:

Next, click in the Enter State box and type the new state.  Then click on the SAVE button.  The new state which you typed will appear in the list.

 

To edit an existing state, first locate the state in the list and then look to the right of it until you encounter a    button under the Edit column:

Click on the    button.  Notice that the Add / Edit State box contains a box called Enter State that fills in with the state you want to edit (which in the case of fig. 7.9-6 is “California”):

Click in the Enter State box and type to make the desired changes to the state.  Then click on the SAVE button.  The updated state will be shown in the list.

 


To delete an existing state, first locate the state in the list and then look to the right of it until you encounter a    button under the Delete column:

Click on the    button.  The state to the left of the delete button you clicked will be deleted from the list.

 

To print a list of all the states entered into EZM Web so far, first locate the yellow-colored PRINT button at the bottom right part of the screen:

Clicking on the PRINT button will print the following report:
